For junior infant students, making the move from playschool to 'big school' is a big step and so, when students move schools for first class, the transition is often missed. The boys who joined the CBS Primary in first class this year met the challenge with a mixture of nerves and excitement.

This group of students are in a privileged position, as they are the first group in many years to be in the school without any building or extension works going on - these boys will be enjoying all that the school has to offer with the wonderful new sensory room and school hall.

The opening of the Mitchelstown Leisure Centre just down the hill from the school will also enhance their time in the school.
