On Saturday, February 3 at 8pm Friars’ Gate Theatre, Kilmallock host The Golden Years, a nostalgic musical evening featuring some of the world’s best loved melodies including songs from The Bohemian Girl, The Candy Store on the Corner, The Whistling Gypsy, Josef Locke’s Hear my Song, Violetta and Whiskey on a Sunday among a host of other golden hits.
Featuring renowned tenor Frank Ryan, thrilling young soprano Sarah O’Mahony and Bethan Lee, piano.
The trio will serve up an evening of classic songs from the American songbook, popular ballads and unforgettable scores from the silver screen.

Theatre obsessed ex ballet dancer Elizabeth now wheelchair bound lives alone in her country house.
She invites charming good looking actor Michael to read a play she has written.
The large fee makes him jump at the opportunity but he quickly realises that her play shows alarming similarities to real life.
