Sunday last saw the inaugural hosting of the T.J. Sweetnam Memorial Motorbike Run.
T.J. was an avid biker and his untimely death last year occasioned great sadness in Kilworth and beyond. Extracting positives from such loss is difficult, however, the Sweetnam family were delighted to be associated with such a successful event that helped raised much needed funds for Castletownroche girl, Faith Browne – Faith is presently awaiting very important surgery.
Organisationally the run went brilliantly, helped it must be said, by some wonderful weather.
