The Blackwater Valley Makers’ premises on Fermoy’s MacCurtain Street was the setting last Friday evening for an exhibition of children’s art.

Those taking part were students of local artist and musician, Pawel Wroblewski. According to Pawel, his classes in Fermoy Community Youth Centre were very well supported and he acknowledged the creativity of those involved.

“Art is for everyone, once children get a little instruction and encouragement, they get really creative,” he said.

According to a spokesperson for the Makers’ group, the opening night was a ‘great success’.
