Two young groups of filmmakers – Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services (CDYS) Mitchelstown and Cork Young Filmmakers – have joined forces to produce a documentary about Mitchelstown.
The aim of the project is to provide young people with the opportunity to further develop their filmmaking skills and to produce a documentary about their community and what it is like to live there.
This will involve young people designing and making a documentary film.
Young filmmakers will carry out themed structured interviews with a range of people, 25 in total, who live in their community.
