Roadworks began in front of Blackwater Motors in Fermoy this week to connect the new service station, which is due to built at Moorepark, to the sewer rising main.
The roadworks are due to continue until at least the end of February as the works will continue down the left hand side of the road as far as the Pike Road (on the opposite side).
At this point, they will cross the road and continue the works down the right hand side of the road all the way to the site of the new service station at Moorepark, a stretch of approximately 3km.
