A small but devoted crowd attended last Friday evening’s remembrance service for those interred in Clogheen Workhouse Cemetery.

Mass was concelebrated by Fr. John Nally and Fr. Bobby Power. During his time in the village, Fr. Power, along with others, helped highlight the historical significance of the site.

Locals David Walsh and Packie Normoyle were involved in clearing the site, which is now accessible to the public.
