Mooreabbey Milers AC enjoyed a winning streak over the St. Patrick’s weekend. Stuart Moloney cruised to victory in the national indoor masters championships on Sunday 20th.
Stuart comfortably won gold in the O35 3,000m in Athlone. He won the race in a time of 8.45. Congratulations go to Stuart from all at the club.
Marie O’Shea won her first county road championships gold medal on Sunday last. Marie was victorious in the Novice B 3k ladies race which was hosted by Coolquill AC.
Marie crossed the line in an excellent time of 11.56. Congratulations Marie on a very well deserved win.
Our men’s team ran well in the 6k race. Willie O’Donoghue was 9th, followed by Damien Holian and John Hayes. The team was placed 5th overall.
The next fixture for the county road championships will be on April 17th in Dundrum at 1pm. The senior and junior championships will be held on that date.
