Watergrasshill U16 hurlers collected their second brace of league points on Saturday Apr 6 following their home game v Courcey Rovers.

Watergrasshill U16 hurlers collected their second brace of league points on Saturday Apr 6 following their home game v Courcey Rovers. Courceys began the game very smartly and had the ball in the Hill net after 2 minutes.

Adam Murphy replied with a similar score for the Hill on 4 minutes. The rest of the first half was a high scoring affair with Thomas Dinan, Aaron Collins and Ronan O’Keeffe notching further goals. 8 first-half points were shared between PJ Dennehy, Aaron Collins and Adam Murphy. The Hill led at half-time by 4-8 to 3-4.

After the break the Hill began well and continued to score freely. Padraig Cotter operating at full forward registered 3 goals. Aaron, PJ and Adam tacked on a further 6 points. The final score stood at 7-14 to 3-11 in favour of the Hill.

The Hill play their next game away to Cloughduv on Saturday, April 13.
