Members of the U14 Watergrasshill United Soccer team were received by the Lord Mayor of Cork on Wednesday, October 17 at 6pm.

They were presented with a brand new kit for the team and new training jerseys. Sponsored by Pipelife based in White’s Cross, a representative of the company was also in attendance.

Over nine players from the team travelled to the presentation along with their manager Pat Healy and all were delighted to be invited to the event.

The team are having a mixed season so far with eight games played, but they hope that their winning streak will continue as they won their match against Corinthian AFC at the weekend, defeating the city outfit 3-2.
