A study of water quality tests has revealed a catalogue of incidents of contaminated supplies across The Avondhu region. In our investigation we examined water quality testing results for the first quarter of 2020 and for the full year of 2019.
The examinations of water quality by Irish Water reveal a substantial range of problems across the network.
These include chemicals such as chlorine, bromate, fluoride and even dry cleaning solvents in drinking water.
There are also traces of lead and other metals found in samples, while there are findings of bacteria and other harmful organisms found at other locations.
