Parishioners turned out in force for Fr Aquin Casey’s farewell party held in Fermoy Community Youth Centre last Sunday evening.
Fr Aquin, following a period of sabbatical, is now CC in Cobh. Prior to that he served the people of Fermoy faithfully for 14 years – a tenure that was characterised by significant achievements.
Speaking at the farewell function, Fr Aquin acknowledged the support and encouragement he received in Fermoy.
