Conna community want their castle back

The people of Conna are at their wits end as their historic castle and grounds remain closed off to the public and have been for the past four years. 

Conna Castle is a well loved public amenity which not only draws people into the village but is a scenic space for the Conna residents to enjoy and explore. 

However, it has been out of bounds with four years now because the OPW say that a programme of internal works was initiated a number of years ago to deal with safe access for people on the upper levels.
