This Friday, November 15th, American singer/songwriters Willy Mason and The Alpha Gals will be performing at The Richmond Revival, Fermoy.
Willy is embarking on a small Irish tour ahead of his new album launch in 2025 and we are one of only a very few venues who have been selected to have this trio perform. So, while we can’t claim an exclusive, it’s not far from it.
AN AMERICANA TRIO
Hailing from Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, Lexie Roth and Willy Mason have been singing together for decades. Jessie Pinnick entered the scene last year and The Alpha Gals were formed. With a mix of covers and originals from all three songwriters, their sound is a blend of new and old classic Americana music with a hint of Bluegrass. In other words, expect amazing music, gut wrenching guitar, and heavenly harmonies.
WILLY MASON – SOLO
Willy Mason is a songwriter who has become harder to define as the years go on. Often outside of time musically, his lyrics reflect the humanness of now and our steps toward transcendence.
Willy’s music has travelled great lengths over the years, but it’s always been from the heart and for the sake of love and its mysterious mission.
Today’s shows are tight and powerful – full of passion and conviction, humour and love.
Tickets €22 (inclusive of booking fee), doors open 7pm and the gig starts 8pm. Tickets can be pre-purchased from the Richmond Revival website, through PROC or at the door (depending on availability).
