University College Cork has been named the winner of Best Student Campus at the Education Awards. The final of the Education Awards, recognising excellence in the third-level sector in Ireland, were held late last week at a ceremony in Dublin, attended by hundreds of education professionals.

“We’re delighted to be honoured and recognised nationally with this award. Our work allows us to promote the exciting research and world-class student experience at UCC,” said Ruth McDonnell, Head of Media & PR, UCC.

UCC regularly features its beautiful campus on the University’s Instagram account with photos, videos and Instagram Stories, with the hashtag #UCCOurCampus, encouraging visitors to be part of campus life and capture their UCC experiences.

UCC’s Media & PR team has published hyperlapse videos, showing prospective and new students what to expect and how to find key offices.

The world’s first Green Flag Campus, UCC has been named in a list of the most sustainable universities across the globe, achieving the highest result in Ireland.

In addition, the state-of-art sports and leisure facility, the Mardyke Arena UCC, promotes a healthy lifestyle to the student body.
