The heartbroken family of a little boy who died following a brave cancer battle have paid tribute to their community who came out to say goodbye.
Conor Harnett was just seven years old when he died after almost a year fighting a tumour.
His parents have paid tribute to the community of Killavullen and Annakisha, for their show of solidarity during their time of grief, with his mother Jackie telling The Avondhu of the heartbreaking moment their little boy drifted away last Friday in her arms, while watching cartoons at home.
In a major show of solidarity from the parish for the Harnett family, a car procession preceded the funeral of the youngster on Monday morning.
