There was widespread regret being expressed throughout North Cork following the tragic death on Tuesday night of 70 year old Doneraile man, Seamus McCarthy who died when the bus he was driving, crashed near Ardmore, Co Waterford.

The bus, which was carrying 29 passengers – all members of the CIT camogie team – left the road and finished up in a field. There was no other vehicle involved and the passengers on the bus were uninjured.
