The Toyota Proace City, Toyota’s latest offering in their LCV range, will be arriving in Ireland for the second half of 2020.

The Proace City is a competitive and appealing addition to the Light Duty Van (LDV) segment and expands Toyota’s product coverage in the LCV market.

Product Specs

The Proace City is built with the customer in mind, and is practical, agile and flexible. It comes in a number of variants, allowing customers to choose their bespoke van to suit their needs, and is available as a short or long wheelbase panel van. It comes with a choice of two or three seats in the front cabin.

With very generous capacity of up to 3.7m³ on short wheelbase models and up to a best-in-class 4.3m³ on long wheelbase models, the Proace City can also accommodate two euro pallets in both lengths.

Tight spaces and city streets are no problem with asymmetric rear doors making loading simple. It has a towing capacity of 1,500kg, and a payload of up to 1,000kg.

Featuring a diesel powertrain with a choice of 75 DIN hp and 100 DIN hp it combines low CO2 with outstanding fuel efficiency.

Features

Standard features include a full metal bulkhead, driver and passenger airbag and sliding side door. On various grades the Proace City comes with reversing sensors, smart load indicator, air conditioning and an upgraded infotainment system.

Roadshow

Customers will get a chance to see the Proace City at the Proace City Roadshow which will take place in March 2020. Each dealership will host an event to showcase the new model and to answer any questions customers might have.

Commenting on the announcement Steve Tormey, Chief Executive of Toyota Ireland said: “We’re delighted to extend our commercial offering into the LDV segment with the introduction of the new Proace City, designed for practicality and including best-in-class features.

“This is an opportunity to deliver Toyota models to a broader market and offer more choice for our commercial customers. The customer is at the heart of everything we do and we think customers will be thrilled with the new Proace City.”
