Toyota Yaris Cross is Ireland’s best selling car as Toyota leads 261 sales for sixth January in a row

Building on its success as Ireland’s best-selling car brand in 2025, Toyota has once again led the market in January, outselling every other manufacturer to secure its position as the number one car brand for the sixth consecutive year, further reinforcing Toyota’s status as Ireland’s most trusted car brand*.

At the heart of this success is the Toyota Yaris Cross, now Ireland’s best-selling car with its broad appeal as a compact, great-value hybrid that suits everyday driving, from urban commuting to weekend journeys. Its combination of hybrid efficiency, SUV-inspired styling and practicality has resonated strongly with Irish drivers,

This February, Irish drivers who choose Toyota can explore an extensive line-up of efficient, low-emission vehicles to suit every lifestyle, complemented by a range of attractive offers on new car purchases, including the all-new Aygo X Hybrid, Toyota’s most affordable hybrid and the new all-electric Toyota bZ with a range of up to 567kms**, both available to test drive now.
