Free seasonal eating workshop for climate impact

Cathy Fitzgibbon, aka The Culinary Celt and a climate ambassador with An Taisce, will host a free interactive workshop in June examining the link between everyday food choices and climate action.

Drawing on practical frameworks and models developed through her work, Killavullen-based Cathy will guide participants through what it truly means to eat seasonally, why it matters and how to incorporate it into busy modern lifestyles. Titled ‘From Plate to Planet’, the session  aims to equip attendees with accessible tools and insights to make more sustainable food choices, without added stress or complexity.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, 13th June from 10.30am to 12pm at the Cork Biodiversity Hub (P31 PX67) and forms part of the An Taisce 2026 Climate Ambassador Programme, supporting climate awareness and action, in partnership with the Sustainability in Cork Alliance.

Admission is free, but pre booking is essential and all are welcome. Book via –https://theculinarycelt.com/product/fromplatetoplanet/
