The best and brightest Audi staff across Ireland competed in the Audi Twin Cup National Final for a chance to represent Ireland on the world stage against other Audi markets.
The Audi Twin Cup is a global competition where staff are tested in wide-ranging know-how and technical skills in addition to demonstrating their first-class abilities in Sales and Aftersales.
After qualifying in the online round, Sales and Aftersales staff competed in the National Final Event at Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow. Each contestant across four categories (Service, Technology, Used Car Sales and New Car Sales) took part in skill quizzes and challenges in their respective departments.
Staff from Audi Athlone, Audi Centre, Audi Wexford, Audi Naas, Audi North Dublin and Audi Sligo came out on top at the National Final and will proceed to represent Ireland in the next Audi Twin Cup stages.
The Audi Twin Cup is a prestigious competition and for the past 27 years has showcased the exceptional talent within Audi dealerships. Traditionally focused purely on Technicians and Service Advisors, testing their diagnostic, repair, and customer service skills, the competition has expanded for the second year to include Sales categories for both New and Used Car Sales.
The addition of Sales highlights the crucial collaboration between Sales and Aftersales departments in delivering an outstanding customer experience for all Audi drivers.
Damien O’Sullivan, Managing Director of Audi Ireland commented: “It is always a highlight in the calendar to host the Audi Ireland National Twin Cup Final, we are dedicated to providing best-in-class customer service at every touchpoint and this challenge showcases the knowledge, skills and excellent customer service of the Irish dealer network.
“The Twin Cup encourages continuous learning and development across our Sales and Aftersales teams, driving progress through friendly competition. The contest has become increasingly more competitive, with nations across the entire globe competing at the all-new semi-final this year.
“Having placed 9th overall last year, we are confident in our team to push for an ever better result in this year’s event. The exceptional standards in the Audi Ireland dealer network is apparent at the National Final, and I wish Team Ireland 2024 the very best of luck in the next stages.”
