Our ‘early summer’ weather was a massive boost for the organisers of last Sunday’s Midleton Show.

Hosted by the Fell family who reside in the townland of Ballindenisk near Watergrasshill, their extensive holding proved to be an ideal venue.

Facilities were excellent for participants and attendees and according to informed sources, the calibre of animal on show was ‘exceptional’.

There were large entries in the livestock and bloodstock classes, the arts and crafts section was very popular, catering options were varied and there was plenty to entertain the youngsters (children were admitted free of charge).
