Thomas Kent Pipe Band 60 years on the road

Synonymous with Fermoy, 2019 marks the 60th anniversary of the Thomas Kent Pipe Band.

Named after the famous Castlelyons patriot, its musicians are upholding a proud and illustrious tradition. While under a bit of pressure as regards recruitment, this group intend being around for many a long year to come. 

The band’s 60th anniversary was marked in some style with a celebratory bash in The Wagon Tavern last Saturday night.
