Over the weekend, Ballyhooly’s Jamie Collins took to the start line in three races at the Dunlop Masters Superbike Championship at Mondello Park, Co Kildare.
The local young man, son of Gerry and Kitty Collins, rides in the Production Twins class, which are the 650cc V twin engine road bike, which cannot be modified or upgraded in any way, so every rider has an even chance of winning.
The first race took place on Saturday 6th in fine weather over twelve laps of the course where Jamie claimed victory by 8 seconds from his nearest rival.
