47-year-old Mitchelstown Tennis Club member, Aidan McNamara from Kilbehenny, is scheduled to take part in the ITF World Tennis Masters Championships in Turkey from March 19th-24th.
A talented juvenile tennis player, he retains huge affection for the club that introduced him to what is truly a global sport.
Understandably delighted to be on home ground for last Sunday morning’s ‘send off’, Aidan said the upcoming trip to Turkey was a special sporting opportunity.
