There was an air of excitement and celebration in Lismore last Friday afternoon, as Taoiseach Leo Varadkar spent a few hours at the local Heritage Centre.

An Taoiseach was there to officially launch ‘The Lismore Castle Experience’ – a brand new virtual reality exhibition at the centre.

The 3D experience, which brings visitors on an immersive tour inside the private home of Lord and Lady Burlington at Lismore Castle, was funded through a €75,000 investment by Fáilte Ireland and will be yet another attraction for tourists who visit the historic West Waterford town.
