Shane Long to be Irish player of the tournament
France v Germany for Final with France emerging victorious

Ireland will win against Sweden and will achieve draws against both Belgium and Italy; and Shane Long will be the Irish player of the tournament: those are two of the key findings from a survey carried out by Continental Tyres, Official Sponsor of UEFA EURO 2016TM, and You Boys in Green website ybig.ie

The survey of some 312 ybig.ie subscribers, committed and knowledgeable fans all, suggests that our successful performances against the Swedes, Belgians and Italians will see scorelines of 2-1, 1-1 and 1-1 respectively.

Under that scenario, Ireland could be heading for the last 16 and who knows how further the journey could then go?

In terms of the overall star of the tournament, Antoine Griezmann of France is expected to take that title with 18% of the votes cast; just pipping Thomas Mueller of Germany on 17%.

According to the survey, Irish fans feel that France will be victorious on their home turf taking the Henri Delaunay trophy, beating Germany in the final.

For those not travelling to France, the most popular way to catch the games seems to be with mates in the pub (67%); followed by a get-together with a group of mates and watching the games in a home environment (20%).
