The Square in Kilworth was heaving last Sunday for the conclusion of another wonderfully successful festival.

Proceedings ended on a high with Castletownroche based rockers, Deuces Wild, playing a free concert.

That afternoon the region’s 5k specialists took to the roads in pursuit of more PBs. There was chip timing for the serious runners while others elected to walk the route at a leisurely pace.

Earlier in the day, cyclists of all ages and abilities were invited to partake in a fun cycle. With cycling enjoying tremendous popularity at the moment it was no surprise that this event was very well supported.
