An appeal, brought before the Supreme Court by Ballyduff residents in relation to the Barranafaddock wind farm has been dismissed.
Several local residents initiated proceedings to overturn a lower court’s decision, made in 2021, that elements of the 11-turbine wind farm did not amount to unauthorised development.
The proceedings were brought under Section 160 of the 2000 Planning and Development Act.
