The rural hinterland of Ballinameela in county Waterford was the setting for last Sunday’s Silage Working Day & Vintage Show – organised by members of Melleray Vintage Club.
Some heavy showers threatened to disrupt proceedings, however, by the time the heavens opened, most of the silage had been harvested and the ‘silage men’ and women were happy.
You need a substantial site for this kind of event and organisers are very grateful to Paddy O’Keeffe and Aidan Ahearn for making their land available.
