The blazing sun provided the perfect backdrop for the family fun and demo day in Mitchelstown Co-op Superstore, as the fluffy and loveable Dulux dog drew in crowds hoping to get their picture taken with the famous TV pooch.

Throughout the day on Saturday, from noon until 4pm, there was a free merry go round to entertain the kids, the Co-op Superstore's cow was on hand with treats for the kids, there were free balloons and face painting.

There were also demo's for power washing, chain saws and gardening, as well as displays from different suppliers.

The family fun and demo day was a way for the Co-op Superstore to give something back to the community, while also giving customers the opportunity to avail of special one day offers for the occasion.
