As summer is in full swing, so too is Carrignavar outdoor swimming pool, one of few heated outdoor pools in the country.
Now in its 60th year of existence, the popular pool has seen a number of developments in recent times, as this year it ‘The Rock Dock’ a new coffee dock opened at the site.
Speaking with The Avondhu, committee members Mick and Lorraine Murray explained that this year, the committee wanted to add an extra facility to the pool, this time providing something for the parents and adults.
