Substantial donation by carnival to Araglin N.S.

Araglin Carnival recently presented a substantial to the local National School following their recent successful festival.

Araglin Carnival has never been found wanting when it comes to assisting projects.

It lost no time stepping into the breech to help finance the refurbishment of Araglin Community Hall and now they're directing funds towards the local national school which is undergoing a very welcome extension. In this instance their contribution is €2,000.

On Thursday night, September 3, in The Swallow Inn (Christy's), the carnival top table turned up with the sizeable cheque ...
