Four Glanworth schoolboys were left starstruck last week as a soccer book they wrote and illustrated made its way into the hands of Ireland manager, Stephen Kenny.
St Patrick’s National School pupils Jamie Coleman, Joe McGrath and Robbie O’Neill wrote the 80 page book, while Fionn O’Connell illustrated it throughout.
‘The Big Game’ was created by the local sixth class pupils at home and during break times, with the four boys sharing the book amongst one another and writing chapters themselves.
