Stalwart of the IFA steps down

County Monaghan native, Seán Clarke, has retired from IFA activities following an exceptionally active 32-year tenure.

Warm tributes have followed in the wake of Sean’s departure with colleagues describing him as ‘fiercely committed’ and ‘extremely able’. 

Reflecting on his life and times within the IFA, Seán described his role as Cork regional executive as ‘full on’.
