St. Michael’s Day celebrations were marked locally with Mass taking place at St. Michael’s Well, Tubbernahulla, Ballyduff Upper in Co. Waterford last Saturday morning.
The celebrant was Fr. Brian Boyle from Fermoy, who welcomed everyone to the picturesque venue on the Waterford/Cork border.
The day itself was fine and there was a large crowd in attendance, with seating provided for those who needed it. The holy well and its surroundings looked very neat and tidy, due mainly to the efforts of the O’Brien family, who live nearby.
