Sporting allrounder on the road to greatness

A triple crown of wins at elite level have confirmed Arthur McDonagh’s status as the country’s number one road bowler.

Having successfully transitioned from these sports, Arthur is sweeping all before him in a remarkable run of form.

The big one of course was the All-Ireland road bowling final held in Ballyvourney recently, where he faced the formidable Thomas Mackle in a five hour battle.

Reflecting on the win, Arthur said he never experienced anything like it before.
