All-time favourites, Special Consensus Bluegrass Band from Illinois USA, are making their umpteenth visit to Ireland and they are as welcome as ever.
They return to The Village Arts Centre, Kilworth on Monday, January 26.
They are International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) award winners for 'Best Album' – 'Rivers and Roads' 2018 and the album has now been Nominated for a 'Best Bluegrass Album' Grammy Award.
The Award Ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on February 10, 2019.
The proof of their popularity is that they have been packing out venues in Ireland for over 20 years.
They are led by their founding member, the incomparable Greg Cahill (banjo and vocals) and also feature Rick Faris (guitar and vocals), Nick Dumas (mandolin and vocals) and Dan Eubanks (bass and vocals).
Once again, you can be guaranteed a stellar show from the superb Special Consensus, but be advised, book early because this will be another sell-out show!
