Among the entertainers to perform at last week’s tribute night were Michael English, Paddy O’Brien, Art Supple, Louise Morrissey and Patrick O’Sullivan. The night was described as ‘mobbed’ by fans, friends and family.

The second tribute night, which begins on Monday at 8.30pm with a €10 entry charge, will feature performances from Michael Collins, Peter Burke, Sam O’Doherty, TR Dallas, Declan Aungier, Pat Daly, Dave Rea, Teddy and Cathal Barry, The Ryan Turner Band and many more.

Sean’s son Michael said the tribute nights came about after he had been ‘inundated with many, many musicians and very loyal fans who simply want to do something for Sean’.
