Former Fermoy FC player Joseph O’Brien-Whitmarsh recently signed his first professional contract with Cork City FC.
Announcing the news last week, Cork City FC said that they were ‘delighted’ to break the news.
Having joined from Fermoy FC in early 2019, the 16-year-old has been in the City first team squad on a couple of occasions this year.
According to Joseph, he was pleased to sign his first professional contract as a midfielder for Cork City FC.
“It has been great to be in training with the first team and I have really enjoyed the experience …” he said.
