“Schools are back this Friday and it’s just chaos again,” Cllr William O’Leary has said, as the annual issue of school transport and issuing of bus tickets resumes once again.
According to the councillor, the issue extends right across the region this year, affecting mainly pupils attending schools in Fermoy, with some attending Mitchelstown and Mallow also impacted.
Around 17 to 24 pupils from the Glenville area are impacted this year, with around 10-15 in Clondulane, five in Castletownroche and upwards of 20 in Kildorrery, Cllr O’Leary said.
