These are good times for members and supporters of St Catherines Camogie Club. Thanks to excellent underage structures, the club continues to produce players of a very high standard.

The club received a further boost this week with news that stalwart, Orla Cotter, has been nominated for camogie Player of the Year.

Orla is a brilliant role model and while operating at elite level, she is never found wanting when it comes to helping her native club.

The local community hall was bursting at the seams last Saturday night for an event that honoured St Catherines players who have enjoyed success at club, school and county level during the year.
