The first year students attending Coláiste Fionnchua, Mitchelstown in 2018/19 will be set apart from others in the locale, as they will be the first group of students to use an iPad as a central tool to enhance their learning.

The official launch of this initiative took place this week and in attendance were representatives of Mitchelstown Credit Union who have supported parents in financing the devices.

The rationale behind this decision according to Edward Cronin, principal of Coláiste, was reached after discussion with the teaching staff about how we could enhance the experience of learning and teaching for our incoming students.
