Škoda is entering 2025 with strong optimism. Following record-breaking sales and an anticipated third-place finish in the Irish market, the brand is confident it can replicate this success in 2025.
This positivity is backed by the recent introduction of their Kodiaq and Superb Plug-in Hybrid vehicles, which Škoda believes will attract conservative customers who are hesitant to fully transition to electric vehicles.
Škoda’s model offensive will continue in October with the unveiling of the new fully electric Elroq, which will be positioned below the Škoda Enyaq.
The Enyaq itself has been made even more appealing for 2025, with 27 additional specification upgrades, including significant interior enhancements such as a full leather interior and heated seats. Sportline models will feature an illuminated crystal glass grille and 21-inch alloy wheels, while all versions will now come equipped with advanced technology, including Matrix LED headlights and adaptive cruise control as standard.
Škoda has also streamlined the Enyaq range, discontinuing the 58 kWh battery (Enyaq 60) model. The largest 77 kWh battery, offering up to 569 kilometers of range, will now be available exclusively in the Enyaq 85+ and the Enyaq 85+ Sportline. Customers can also take advantage of Škoda Finance options, with Hire Purchase finance rates starting from 0%, or opt for a Personal Contract Plan with the benefit of future value guarantees, available from 1.9% APR.
John Donegan, Brand Director of Škoda Ireland, commented: “We are forecasting a rebound in the Irish electric vehicle market next year, returning to 2023 sales levels. We are confident that Škoda will grow its share of the electric market with the arrival of the new Elroq early next year, along with our revised, highly specified Enyaq, which is now available to order.
“The Enyaq has been sold out in Ireland for some time, with only used and demonstrator models available. I would advise prospective customers to visit their local Škoda dealer early if they are considering an Enyaq or any other Škoda model for 2025.”
The new Škoda Enyaq 85+ is priced from €48,900, while the Enyaq 85+ Sportline starts at €55,000. These prices include delivery, VRT rebate, and SEAI grants. The Enyaq is also available in a stylish Coupe version from €52,750. All Škoda Enyaq vehicles come with a 8-year manufacturer warranty. Economy data provided is based on WLTP values.
