‘Drinking Habits’ is a play by Tom Smith and the one chosen by Conna Dramatic Society as their Spring project which opens in Conna Hall on Friday, February 9.
In ‘Drinking Habits’, accusations, mistaken identities, and romances run wild in what is a laugh-out-loud farce in which two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent doors open.
But Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancées, are hot on their trail, undercover as a nun and priest. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves in this hilarious play, one you’ll not want to miss.
Directed b Brendan Hurley, the play has a cast of eight that includes Maired O’Driscoll, Laura Hyde, Cian McCarthy, Ann Hurley, James Moroney, Clodagh McAuliffe, Doireann Hayes and Peter Barry.
Opening night is Friday, February 9th with four other performances run-in on the Friday and Saturdays of February 16/17 and 23/24.
