Staff at Cheers Bar in Fermoy and members of St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy Fundraising Association, are all set for another Bank Holiday Music Marathon – a long running event that helps raise thousands of euros for Fermoy hospital.

It all kicks off on Sunday next, 2nd June at around 1pm and will run for the entire day and night. MC for the event is Paul Donnellan, who has been a great supporter of ‘the marathon’.

Another key individual in the Music Marathon’s success is proprietor of Cheers Bar, Paul McNulty. While other bars have moved away from the live music scene, the Donegal native remains committed to promoting the best of local and regional talent. Most of those taking part next Sunday, will have appeared in Cheers before and all are really looking forward to what promises to be ‘a super session’.
