Post Christmas tractor run in Anglesboro

A variety of tractor makes and models assembled in Anglesboro on Tuesday, 27th December for the annual tractor run. Four groups benefitted – Anglesboro Hall, Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre, Liam’s Lifts and Blood Bikes. 

While the morning may have been overcast and damp, this did not deter tractor men and women from turning out in force. Prior to the run, attendees were invited to register, support the tractor run raffle and have a pre-run cup of tea/coffee/ soup. 
SUCCESSFUL AUCTION
Another important aspect of proceedings was the auction. Long time supporter of the event, Maurice Walsh, was on hand to oversee the bidding. All items reached their reserve and were sold. Tractor run organisers would like to wish Maurice’s brother Eddie, well with his treatment and recovery. 
AND THEY’RE OFF!
With formalities complete, drivers were invited to start their engines…
