Positive news on the local housing front for Fermoy and Mitchelstown was forthcoming from Cork County Council at this month’s Northern Committee meeting when council officials confirmed that rebuilding would restart at Crann Ard in Fermoy in mid-November and that 50 new social houses for Stag Park in Mitchelstown were at the design stage, and would progress to planning in early 2025.
