Popular fair returns to Galbally

With a bit of luck, a sign of things to come – let’s hope so. It was a bright and busy start for those attending last Tuesday’s fair in Galbally as vendors competed for prime selling spots.

For established businesses, the influx provided a welcome boost to trade – one such example being Cummins’ supermarket, where employee Bridget Fitzgerald spoke to The Avondhu.

“I’ve heard a lot about the Galbally Fair over the years, but was never able to attend. I thought it was brilliant, it gave a great lift to the place and the fine day really made it,” Bridget enthused.
