A push-button traffic light system will not be given the green light at the existing location of the pedestrian crossing along Patrick Street in Fermoy, although railings may be introduced to guide pedestrians to cross at the correct location.

A motion from Cllr Noel McCarthy to have a push button system installed was tabled at this month’s meeting of Fermoy Municipal Authority.
